Tahini Dressing

As part of heart health month, I've chosen several of my favorite foods that just so happen to promote heart health.

"But, how am I supposed to eat all of those?"  or "I don't like vegetables..." you might ask/say...

Well, I'm going to show you a recipe to help you include these foods into your daily meals!

First recipe to discuss is a tahini dressing.  For those of you who don't know, tahini is made of ground sesame seeds; much like peanut butter or any nut butter for that matter.  Sesame seeds are especially a good source of calcium and other minerals essential to health.

You can drizzle this dressing over a big salad, add a dollop to baked sweet potatoes, or even add some plain tahini to a bowl of oatmeal!

Note:  Tahini can be substituted in this recipe for any nut or seed butter (peanut, cashew, sunflower, etc.)

(Makes 1 serving)

Let me know in the comments if you liked this recipe and/or how you modified it to suit your taste!!

Luana ola!

p.s. Sorry this is so late...I am posting this in March (national nutrition month!!)...man the time just flies and I don't even know where February went!  Here's to hoping I will have some time to dedicate to blogging this month!!
